Radical Broccoli Surf Retreat

This year we are inviting you to join us at the very first place we ever fell in love with in Santa Teresa - Thea Resort & Retreats. It's a luxury retreat center located on a private mountain above the jungle, with a gorgeous panoramic sea view. Let's show you why we adore this place so much, and enjoy our uniquely designed days together. We will bask in nature, workshops, surfing, riding, feminine energy, nourishment, rest, nervous system regulation and coming into true alignment with who we are, in order to create our desired manifestations in life. Together, we set a powerful intention for the week, and we will teach you how to let it come true. We will work through any blocks, and open up more each day to receive all the beautiful gifts of life!

The Experience


Hi love, welcome to our Costa Rica retreat. Our intention is to create space for you to open your heart, explore your full self, come into alignment and truly enjoy your life and your full potential. We invite you to spend 6 days, 5 nights with us in the tropical forest of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. A place we have completely fallen in love with the past 9 years. The funny thing is how this very retreat location we are inviting you to is owned by our dear friend Adi, who was the first woman to welcome us to Santa Teresa back in 2017, with wide open arms, she said "what an honor to meet you". Beautiful friendships were created and we actually hosted our very very first mini retreat at this place back in 2018.
 
This is a beautiful full circle moment. Being back at the place we learned about herbs, healing, plant-based foods, surfing, spirituality and sooo much more. Those of you who have listened to our podcast know this story. And now we want to share all these experiences with you.
 
Our days will be spent waking up early to the sound of nature, taking in the morning lights, meeting at the yoga mat for lovely movement to start the day, before we enjoy a delicious breakfast by our local, in-house chef. We rest before we meet for a workshop, surfing, or other adventures during the day. We enjoy lunch and/or dinner together at our ocean-view retreat, before our evening ceremony either pulling cards, practicing emotional release, having a sharing circle, dancing or winding down with yin-yoga...
 
You will also be able to add-on experiences and treatments from our favorite holistic massage-therapists, healers and specialists.
 
Every day will be our dream-day. Wow, this will be beautiful!

The Location

The first time we visited Thea Resort & Retreats, we were completely blown away. We had never seen anything this beautiful before, and the ocean view over the jungle is nothing short of stunning. We can't wait to spend time together here. 
 
Thea Resort & Retreats is located on a private mountain exclusively available for us, just 5 minutes up from the town of Santa Teresa. It features a panoramic ocean-view, infinity pool, large outdoors yoga-deck, and our private luxury villa lodges. We will enjoy a beautiful kitchen, where our in-house chef will cook for us, there is an infrared sauna, a healing room and high-speed internet across the location. 
 
It is tucked away in privacy, but still very close to town, the beaches, shops and has a great location. Take a peak into one of the villas in the video below.

The Menu

We will enjoy home-made meals by our in-house local chef, who will cook vegetarian-centric meals for us, in addition to local fish. The food will be colorful, tropical, healthy, and nourishing to both look at and eat, and fuel us for the activities we have coming up. 
 
We will strive to choose only in-season vegetables and fruits (which there are plenty of), as well as local varieties that you have not have experienced before. Santa Teresa truly opened up a new world of food for us both, and we can't wait to share that with you! 
 
Some national dishes and treats that we will enjoy together are: Gallo Pinto, Casado, Pipa Frio, fresh batidos and lots of plantain!

The Program 

 A typical day at our retreat can look something like this:
 
6/7 am: wake up to soft sounds of the jungle. Hydrate and have some fruits/snacks. Wake the body slowly with natural sunlight 
 
7/8 am: meet in yoga shala for our morning movement. Yoga, pilates-inspired strength training, dance or a combination. Will be catered to how you feel and everyone's needs
 
9 am: delicious, tropical breakfast in our outdoors dining area created by our in-house chef. Eating and enjoying slowly
 
10 am: take some rest, alone time, journal. Let the impressions soak in, and your brain and body process 
 
12 pm: delicious lunch either in town or at our retreat location
 
13.30 pm: workshop with Anette/Susanne. Topics such as deepening self-love, neuroscience, manifestation, scripting, growing through our fears
 
3 pm: surfing, horse riding, a hike, or some much-needed rest
 
5.30 pm: gathering with some fresh coconut water to watch the sun set across the horizon, with our magical view 
 
6 pm: delicious dinner together, enjoying seasonal and local varieties, and hopefully trying something new 
 
8 pm: close the day in the shala with some light movement, sharing session, journaling together or pulling cards 
 
9 pm: sleeping like a dream

Upon booking your spot today, you secure your space in your chosen accommodation, and pay only your security deposit of $500. 8 weeks prior  to our retreat, your remaining payment is due, which you will receive in advance via email with different payment options.
