3 warming beverages you will love


These are our favorite warming elixirs for the colder months - turmeric latte, matcha latte, and hot chocolate. They are so tasty, full of nutrients and do good for your body! Matcha and cacao are energizing drink for the early hours, and turmeric latte can be enjoyed all day. This, of course, depends on personal preferences, some people really enjoy a cacao in the evening too without problems. We've also done another post on matcha here. Turmeric latte

(1 person, 5 minutes)

  • 1 cup plant-based milk (we really love coconut and oat)

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder/1 teaspoon juice of fresh turmeric root

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger root

  • 1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

  • 1 pinch of black pepper (for optimal absorption of the turmeric)


How toHeat the milk in a pot, and make sure it doesn't boil. Add the rest of the ingredients. To make it nice and frothy, run it in your food processor or get a milk steamer thingy like this from IKEA.

Hot chocolate

(1 person, 5 minutes)

  • 1 tsp raw cacao

  • 1 cup plant-based milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla powder or vanilla bean (optional)


How toHeat the milk, add the cacao and mix!

Matcha Latte

(1 person, 5 minutes)

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder

  • 1 cup plant-based milk (we love coconut or oat milk) or boiled water

  • 1 tea spoon maca powder (this is optional)


How to Warm up the milk and add the matcha powder and whisk it until it becomes frothy. You can also use a blender or a match whisp if you have one at home!We recommend that you buy organic spices, they are nicer for us, the planet and the people producing them <3ENJOY!
