Fall is the perfect time to get cozy inside and watch documentaries with a cup of tea or hot chocolate and a blanket. We want to recommend three of our favorite documentaries – they are all really entertaining, shows amazing nature and are so incredibly full of insight. Sometimes documentaries about the environment can leave us feeling a bit hopeless and like everything is going wrong, but these just inspire us to make a change instead! Hope you love them as much as we do!
Before the flood
Before the flood has to be one of the best documentaries ever. It has everything from breathtaking nature to really important information and insight about what is going in the world. It also features some really interesting conversations with Barack Obama and Elon Musk. Leonardo DiCaprio at his very best!
You can find it on Itunes, Amazon and Google Plat.
This lovely and cute movie is all about how we can live with less stuff. This way we will have more time and energy for real-life experiences. The movie is made by two men who felt depressed and unfulfilled in an 80-hour work week type of life, even though this meant they could afford to buy everything they needed. They explain that they lost control over their schedules and decided to take back control with some principles from minimalism.
This movie will definitely make you want to clean out your closet and see how you could manage with fewer things in your life.
You can find it on Netflix, iTunes, Vimeo, Google Play and Amazon.
Blue Planet II
Most of you have probably already heard of this documentary series, and if you haven’t seen it yet you really have a treat waiting for you! David Attenborough is the world’s most famous narrator and that is not without reason. He takes you on a journey all over the planet and you will see some of the cutest, weirdest animals and learn about how plastic and climate change affects their lives. It’s just heartwarming from the beginning to the end.
